These tarot cards were drawn in 1909 by Pamela Colman Smith under the direction of occultist Arthur Edward Waite. Smith's vibrant drawings transformed the standard tarot deck, making the Rider-Waite-Smith Tarot the de facto most popular deck in use around the world right up to the modern day.
